WELCOME LA MILAGROSA

What a fun filled day we have had! So many games and activities to keep us occupied. So far at Eco School we have met our amazing teachers, played some funny introduction games and done a treasure hunt searching for missing pieces for the secret message. Also, taken crazy photos of ourselves, made a scrap book for our memories here, had some great meals and danced the night away in the Just Dance competition! We are definitely ready for bed now. Good night! J

¡Menudo día de bienvenida hemos tenido! Con muchísimos juegos y actividades que nos han mantenido ocupados todo el día. Hoy en Eco School hemos conocido a nuestros maravillosos profesores nativos, hemos jugado a unos divertidos juegos de introducción y estuvimos en busca del tesoro buscando las piezas perdidas de un mensaje secreto. Además nos hemos sacado unas fotos muy divertidas disfrazados, hicimos un scrapbook para hablar de lo que hacemos aquí durante la estancia y por la noche una competición de Just Dance. Después de tanta actividad  definitivamente estamos listos para descansar esta noche. ¡Buenas noches! J

Sekulako harrera eguna izan dugu! Gaur egun osoa jolasetik jolasera aritu dugu. Eco Schoolen, gure irakasle natiboak ezagutu ditugu, ezagutza jolas dibertigarri batzuetan aritu gara solasean eta altxorraren bila ere aritu gara izkutuko mezu baten piezak bilatzen. Gainera, mozorrotuta geundela argazki oso dibertigarriak atera ditugu, gure egonaldiari buruz idazteko scrapbooka egin dugu eta gauen dantza ekitaldia izan dugu Just Dance txapelketarekin. Hainbeste ekintza eta gero ohera joateko prest gaude. Gabon! J

Goodbye Sagrado Corazón!

It’s the last day at Eco School! BOOOOOOO! We want to stay for another month! This morning we wrote messages to each other in our scrap books and reminisced about the week. Then we sampled some traditional Scottish culture taking part in a traditional Scottish Ceilidh dance. It was so much fun! Dancing, and spinning and spinning and spinning… J It was sad to say goodbye to our native teachers Josh, Gavin, Jessica and Phoebe, but we had a lot of fun this week! 

¡Es el último día en Eco School! ¡BOOOOOOO! ¡Queremos quedarnos otra semana más aquí! Por la mañana nos escribimos mensajes en nuestros scrap book y remememoramos lo que hicimos esta semana. Después experimentamos un baile tradicional de la cultura escocesa Ceilidh dance. Fué muy divertido bailando y girando, girando, girando… J Fué triste decir adiós a nuestros profesores nativos Josh, Gavin, Jessica y Phobe pero nos lo pasamos genial durante la semana.

Gaur azken eguna dugu Eco Schoolen OHHHHH! Aste bete gehiago egon nahi dugu hemen! Goizean mezuak idatzi dizkiogu elkarri gure scrap bookean eta asteko momenturik onenak gogoratu ditugu. Ondoren, Eskoziako dantza tradizionala ikasi dugu Ceilidh dance. Oso dibertigarria izan dantzan eta bueltaka, bueltaka, bueltaka… J Tristea izan da gure irakasleak diren Josh, Gavin, Jessica eta Phoebe agurtzea baina ikaragarri ondo pasa dugu aste honetan.

A DAY FULL OF FUN

Today was a day full of activities in Eco School, first of all we walked up a mountain near Araia. There we had a good opportunity to visit an amazing river where we paddle. We had a good time chatting with our native teachers and drinking fresh spring water as well.  In the afternoon we did workshops including new sport in which we invented our own sport, circus we were joggling balls and clubs and we had also a fantastic evening doing our dream catchers. The day was really  good but the best activity was the Disco dancing and having fun with our friends and teachers.

Hoy tuvimos un día lleno de actividades en Eco School, para empezar subimos a un monte cerca de Araia. Allí tuvimos una oportunidad genial de visitar un río increíble dónde estuvimos chapoteando. Lo pasamos genial charlando con nuestros profesores y también bebiendo agua fresca. Por la tarde, tuvimos más workshops como new sport en la que inventamos nuestro propio deporte, circus dónde tuvimos la oportunidad de practicar lanzando mazas y bolas de malabares y finalmente disfrutamos haciendo dream catchers. El día realmente fue genial pero la mejor actividad sin duda fue la Disco bailando y pasándolo genial con nuestros compañeros y profesores.

Gaur ekintza ugari izan ditugu Eco Schoolen, hasteko, Araian gertu dagoen mendi bat igo dugu. Bertan, ibai bat ikusteko aukera izan dugu eta zipriztin egiteko aprobetxatu dugu. Ondo pasatu dugu gure irakasleekin berriketan eta ur freskoa edaten ere. Arratsaldean, workshop gehiago new sporten kirol berria diseinatu dugu, circusen malabareak egin ditugu eta ederto egon gara gure dream catcherra egiten. Eguna benetan ona izan da baina ekintzarik onena Diskoa izan da dantzan eta ezin hobeto pasatzen irakasle eta lagunekin.

SO ECO!

Today we became real film stars, making our own movies with our native teachers. We also enhanced our nature knowledge with Maria, a local expert, who taught us how to create urban gardens with an intelligent watering system.  In the afternoon we met with a solar energy technician who explained how harness the power of renewable energy. After that, we had the chance to play with some cool solar powered toys to draw! In the evening we played some fun and embarrassing games in the evening activity… the photos are so funny!!

Hoy nos convertimos en verdaderas estrellas de cine grabando nuestro propio corto con nuestros profesores nativos. Además aumentamos nuestro conocimiento sobre naturaleza con María una experta local que nos enseñó a crear un huerto urbano usando un sistema de riego inteligente. Por la tarde, conocimos a un técnico solar que nos explicó cómo aprovechar el poder de las energías renovables. Después, tuvimos la oportunidad de jugar con unos juguetes solares geniales con los que incluso dibujamos. Por la noche nos reímos un montón con unos juegos divertidísimos, las fotos son para no perdérselas.

Gaur benetako izarrak bezala aritu gara fure film laburra grabatzen irakasle natiboekin. Gainera, naturaren inguruko kontzeptu berriak ikasi ditugu bertako aditua den Mariarekin. Ureztatze sistema adimentsua duen hiri-lorategi bat sortzen erakutsi digu. Arratsaldez, eguzkiaren energia nola aprobetxa dekegun erakutsi digun eguzki-energi teknikari bat ezagutu dugu . Ondoren, eguzki-energiaz aritzen diren hainbat jostailuekin aritu gara, marraztuz eta guzti. Gaua, barrerako momentua izan da jolas dibertigarriekin, egia esateko, argazkiak dibertigarriagoak oraindik. 

WELCOME CARMELITAS SAGRADO CORAZÓN

What a warm welcome at Eco School! We arrived this morning full of beans, ready to start our stay in Barria. We met our amazing native teachers and played some cool introductions games in order to get to know each other better. After a satisfying lunch we talked about our dreams and dressed up in funny outfits for our wall of fame. Hilarious! After this we took part in some workshops, learning what we can do with recycled materials, making an English newspaper and playing a new sport called Dodgeball!

¡Una cálida bienvenida la de hoy en Eco School! Llegamos por la mañana a Barria llenos de energía preparados para empezar. Conocimos nuestros magníficos profesores nativos y jugamos unos divertidos juegos de conocimiento para conocernos mejor unos a otros. Después de la magnífica comida participamos en algunos workshops aprendiendo qué podemos hacer con materiales reciclados o creando un periódico inglés además de jugar a un nuevo deporte llamado Dodgeball.

Arrera beroa gaur Barriako Eco Schoolen! Goizean energiaz beterik eta hasteko irrikitan iritsi gara. Gure irakasle natiboak ezagutu ditugu eta haiekin ezagutza jolas polit batzuetara jolasten aritu gara elkarren artean hobeto ezagutzeko. Bazkari goxo bat eta gero workshop desberdinetan aritu gara material birziklatuarekin zer egin dezakegun ikasten edo egunkari ingeles bat sortzen, gainera, jolas berri batean aritu gara ere, Dodgeball. 

SEE YOU SOON OLABIDE!

It´s the final day at Eco School and we are so sad L . We are going to miss Olabide school! We have had a fantastically marvellous week with you in Barria but like the changing of the seasons, all good things must come to an end. Having said that, we had a brilliant final Friday dancing Ceilidh in the sun.

Eco School are going on holiday for 3 weeks to come back with renewed impetus so that we can continue having an excellent time with you all.

Hoy es el último en Eco School y estamos muy tristes L. ¡Olabide os echaremos de menos! Hemos tenido una fantástica semana con vosotros en Barria pero como pasa con el cambio de las estaciones, todas las cosas buenas llegan a su fin. Dicho esto, tuvimos un final de semana genial bailando Ceilidh bajo el sol.

Eco School se va de vacaciones 3 semanas para volver con ímpetu renovado y continuar disfrutando nuestro tiempo con todos vosotros.

Gaur Eco Schoolen azken eguna dugu eta oso triste gaude L. Faltan baotako zaituztegu Olabide! Aste ikaragarria izan dugu zuekin Barrian baina urataroekin gertatzen den bezala gauza on guztiek amaiera dute. Hau esanda ere, aste buekaera mundiala izan dugu Ceilidh dantzatzen eguzkitan.

Eco Schoolek oporrak hartuko ditu 3 astez horrela energi berriztuarekin bueltatuko gara zuekin disfrutatzen jarraitzeko.

THE WEEK IS COMING TO AN END

Today was a day full of activities in Eco School, at first we walked up a mountain to visit an amazing waterfall near Araia. It was amazing! We were dunking our heads into the water to refresh us from the heat. Also we have been chatting with our native teachers, now we now more interesting things about England and their lifestyle. 

Back in Barria we had more workshops First Aid, Circus as well as Designing New Products. And finally to finish off the week we had a Disco! 

Hoy hemos tenido un día lleno de actividades en Eco School. Para comenzar subimos un hermoso monte para visitar una cascada cerca de Araia. ¡Fue increíble! Zambullimos nuestras cabezas en el agua para refrescarnos del calor. Además, estuvimos hablando con nuestros profesores nativos y ahora sabemos más cosas interesantes sobre Inglaterra y su modo de vida. De vuelta en Barria, tuvimos más actividades First Aid, Circus, así como Designing New Products. ¡Y para finalizar, la semana Dancing Disco!

Gaurkoan ekintzaz beteriko eguna izan dugu Eco Schoolen , hasteko menditik egon gara Araia inguruko ur jauzi ikaragarri bat ikusteko. Zoragarria izan da! Gure buruak uretan sartu ditugu errefreskatzeko egiten zuen beroagatik beharra genuen eta. Gainera gure irakasle natiboekin hizketan egon gara eta orain Ingalaterrari buruzko gauza interesgarri gehiago dakizkigu eta baita haien bizitzei buruz ere. Barriara bueltan ekintza gehiago izan ditugu First Aid, Circus eta Designing New Products. Astea ezinhobe bukatzeko Dancing Disco!
